Dive Bombers and Bounding
Well hello all you FitMidget followers and fans. Yes I am Chantelle the Personal Trainer who tries to push Jamie to the limit each week. As Jamie is already a highly experienced and extremely fit Personal Trainer herself, I sure do have my work cut out for me. Now a few things that stand out to me with regards to Jamie’s training are the following:
1. Excellent execution and technique
2. 100% effort and attitude
3. Willingness to try anything new and different
4. Never gives up
5. Consistency
6. Discipline
So this brings me to Dive Bombers and Bounding. What exactly are those I hear you all ask?
They are two advanced exercises that really work the upper and lower body to the maximum when performed properly.
Dive bombers incorporate the entire upper body, while Bounding recruits all the lower body. I would not recommend them to a client with an upper or lower body injury or to a beginner. However, if you have good healthy knees and shoulders and have been exercising consistently both with weights and cardio for a few months you should give them a try. Who knows, they might become your new favourite exercise.
I have seen both these exercises performed time and time again incorrectly and with dangerous technique. So this is where the lovely Jamie has allowed me to video her performing both the Dive Bombers and Bounding with probably the best execution and technique I have ever seen.
Watch the videos accompanying this article. If you want a change in intensity, increase in fitness and superb body shape add the Dive Bombers and Bounding to your next workout – remembering the correct exercise technique each and every time.
Enjoy and remember to never give up as the beginning is always the hardest. It’s not about perfection. It’s about effort. When you bring that effort every single day, that’s where transformation happens and that’s how change occurs. So simply work hard and be proud of what you achieve.
Have a great day.
